2025 GIFT GUIDE: Toddlers
Toddlers are my favorite to shop for because this age gets SO excited about receiving presents. To be honest, in years past, I have regifted some of my older girls toys to my youngest son Dillon and he has found so much joy in them. All that to say, no pressure to buy everything brand new. If you can find these items second hand or thrifted and gifted by older siblings, by all means, go for it! Consider this your guide to the basics of what toddlers love.
My son has played with this race track SO much since he got it for his 3rd birthday. It comes with suction cups and hanging strips so you can start the track from a window, top of the stairs, etc. and it goes on and on. My kids love to make different jumps and ramps using items from our home + this track.
Animal figurines are a great toy to have on hand. If you don’t have them already, start a collection and then add to it with different types of animals each holiday or birthday season!
Magnatiles are another must-have toy on our list. You can’t go wrong with any set. The more you have, the more you can build. You can take them outside or build a creative world inside. These toys are worth the hype! We also love this Magnetic Toy Guide made by one of our favorite creators!
I got these gingham matching pajamas for the kids last year and the kids loved how cozy they are. Some amazon clothes don’t last very long, but these are still well worn and loved by all three of my kiddos.
In My Heart is one of my favorite books to introduce during the big feelings toddler stage. It helps them identify big emotions and what they can feel like.
I’ve heard SO MANY great things about these stepping stones and how they can be used indoors and outdoors. This will be our big group gift that we’re getting the kids this year. I’m excited to see what they create with it!
A play kitchen is such a fun toy to have. I love the design of this one and how it comes in a variety of colors.
This shell foldaway chair is just the cutest. I want one in every color!
The Yoto Player is one of our beloved toys we’ve owned for years. All three of my kids love to use it for listening to music or stories. We bring it with us in the car and use it during morning basket time too.
A pikler triangle was one of those toys I was curious about for a long time. I didn’t quite understand the benefits and wondered if it was worth the hype. Once I got one, I saw how beneficial they are to have in the home! On rainy days or days my toddler needed to move, this toy came in handy! It helps them build core strength and mobility all while having fun!
Musical toys that require the child to play it are my favorite. I know that there are a lot of musical instruments out there that will just start playing music on their own, but I like to look for musical toys that engage the child’s creativity and require their action to make music.
We got these instant cameras for the girls this summer and they captured so many amazing moments from our travels. I love how it prints instant pictures and videos you can keep as memories forever!
This Fat Brain Toys Air Toobz looks like so much fun! You can take it a part and put it back together to create your own tracks for the balls to travel through. A hit for all ages!
